Hollywood Academy Award

An Academia Prize is an award given by the United states Academia of Movement Image Artistry and Sciences (AMPAS)[1] to identify quality of experts in the movie market, such as administrators, stars and authors. The Oscar statuette is formally known as the Academia Prize of Worth and is one of nine types of Academia Prizes.

The official wedding at which the Prizes of Worth are provided is one of the most popular award events in the world, and is public reside in more than 100 nations yearly. It is also the most ancient award wedding in the media; its counterparts, the Grammy Prizes (for music), Emmy Prizes (for television), and Tony morrison Prizes (for theatre) are patterned after the Academia.

The AMPAS was initially designed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer facilities manager Louis B. Mayer as an established honorary company to help enhance the movie industry’s picture and help mediate work arguments. The Oscar itself was later started by the Academia as an award "of deserve for unique achievement" in the market.[2]

The first Academia Prizes wedding was organised on May 16, 1929, at the Resort Roosevelt in Artist to respect the excellent movie success of the 1927/1928 movie period. The 84th Academia Prizes, remembering movies this year, was organised at the Artist and Highland Middle on Feb 26, 2012.
