Betterfly.com is looking for a Chief Social Media Officer to join our downtown Chicago team.
Betterfly is the largest online marketplace for personal service providers like educational tutors, music instructors, beauty professionals and much more. We are looking to grow our touch points with our community through a new social media strategy and product which this hire will be charged with evolving and executing. This is an amazing opportunity to scope and drive an innovative social media product, hire a social media team, and manage a community of several hundred thousand members at a Lightbank / VC funded company that is growing at a rapid pace.
Requirements:
- You should live/love social media
- You should have managed the social media strategy and execution for multiple companies and or products
- You should have experience working with and educating large online communities through social media and technology tools
- You should have experience building and working collaboratively with teams
- You should be a creative thinker
- You should have a proven track record of turning products or initiatives into measurable successes
- You should have an in-depth understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Google+, Pinterest, Foursquare, etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
Candidates must pay excellent attention to detail, as well as demonstrate superior communication, writing and organization skills. Candidates should demonstrate an ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines, and a commitment to teamwork.
