Clinical MSW Job

Education: Masters Degree from an accredited school of Social Work
 
 Experience: Minimum of 2 year(s) of experience in a healthcare/senior care setting, with at least 1 year of experience dealing with bereavement and/or grief & loss; hospice experience preferred. 
 
 
Licensure/Certification:
Currently licensed by the State Board of Social Work Examiners for Illinois.  
 
Knowledge/Skills: Understands Hospice philosophy and issues related to death / dying including the principles of pain / symptom management.  Demonstrates organizational and time management techniques, along with good verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent team participation abilities. Knowledge of community resources and governmental assistance programs, along with knowledge of governmental regulations and standards, required. Demonstrates exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.  Competency and verification of skills may be required.  Timely, proper completion of all paperwork essential.
 
Other:  Must have a valid Illinois driver's license, with a good driving record and use own vehicle.
